About

I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada with Australian parents and started the sport of synchronized swimming at the age of eight. At the age of 18 I ‘retired’ focusing on university studies until I received the once in a lifetime chance to join the Australian National Synchro Team. This was an incredible opportunity and gamble where I made the hard decision that I would rather try and fail than always wonder what if?  My bold goal initiated a life change moving halfway across the world for the pursuit to earn the chance to go to the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Luckily after endless sacrifice, hard work, and gracious support from family, friends, coaches and teammates, the massive gamble paid off and I qualified for the 2016 Australian Olympic Team. Competing in Rio was a highlight of my life and now I hope to share what I’ve learned from my journey.

I believe that there is a fighting spirit in all of us. I know that a desire to bring our dreams into fruition and having a hunger for doing what you love can bring forward unbelievable opportunities. Whenever I get the opportunity, I love going into workplaces and schools to share my journey to inspire others to pursue their ultimate passions.

I am now a full time Uni student working towards finishing my degree in Internet Communications. Although I am taking the Synchro season off to finish my education however, I remain involved in the tight knit community through a variety of roles including coaching.

I have a love for cooking, sunsets, traveling, enjoying the beauty of life and of course spending time with friends and family whenever I have the chance. I have created this website to share more about my life through raw blog posts and fun Olympic anecdotes along with some of my favourite recipes.

I hope you enjoy and let me know what you would like more of!

Feel free to contact me if you would like me to come and speak at your workplace, school or upcoming event.
